   The best mouse for gaming we’ve tested is the Razer Viper Ultimate. It's lightweight and has a solid plastic body that feels very well-built. It has a true ambidextrous design with two side buttons on either side, making it suitable for either right or left-handed users. Despite being a wireless mouse, it also has a very light and flexible charging cable that marks a real improvement over some of Razer's older cables.

   This gaming-oriented model offers extremely low click latency and a very wide CPI range, within which you can set your CPI in steps of 50 to get the sensitivity setting that feels right for you. There's also RGB lighting built into the mouse that you can customize using the companion software. The companion software also allows you to remap buttons and assign a Hypershift button to enable a secondary layer of inputs should you need them.

   Unfortunately, it isn't a great fit for gamers with larger hands who prefer using a palm or claw grip, though it lends itself very well to a fingertip grip for all hand sizes.
